Flow Screed Services Midlands was proud to carry out the supply and installation of 2.3m³ of Cemfloor liquid screed at Ilkeston Hospital today. The screed was supplied by Amber Mix, supporting the completion of a newly developed space within the facility.

This healthcare project required an ultra-smooth, level flooring base suitable for a high-traffic environment. Working to strict site timings and clean site standards, our team installed Cemfloor, a high-performance liquid screed designed for fast application and minimal disruption — ideal for clinical or semi-clinical zones.
With full perimeter protection and substrate preparation in place, the screed was poured and finished quickly, forming a clean, seamless surface ready for onward trades and floor finishes. The space benefitted from excellent daylight, highlighting the crisp level achieved across the full area.
Cemfloor liquid screed, manufactured by McGraths, was selected for its superior flow properties and minimal shrinkage. The product was delivered to site by Rock Solid Concrete Ltd and installed by our expert team using specialist pumping equipment.
Our team coordinated the mix, site preparation, and clean application — all within a tight timeframe. The supplied images show the early stage prep, the screed mid-pour, and the smooth finish of the freshly laid floor reflecting natural light from the rear extension.
